Hello readers — for those of you who have not read my latest story on the homelessness crisis, you can now listen to it! And it’s not a creepy AI voice — it’s me.
I have a Sunday ritual that involves a trip to the Ojai Farmers Market — I promise this is relevant. This past Sunday, a flower farmer asked me if I happen to be “a voiceover artist.” (I am not.)
I’ve never received this question in my life, and I was delighted. So, I took the inquiry as a sign that I should start recording audio versions of my reporting work. I’ll do so moving forward.
